Aurora is 204
ALL 204 schools should be successful, no matter where they are located.
Inequitable Boundaries Lead to Inequitable Schools
Three IPSD 204 schools are below the state average in testing (Georgetown, McCarty, Longwood).
These schools (and Gombert) have the highest low-income/FRL populations in the district.
Naperville 203 does not have any schools with low-income/FRL populations doubled or tripled their district average. As a result, ALL of Naperville 203's school are well above the state average in testing.
IPSD 204's low-income/FRL average is 18%. Naperville 203's low-income/FRL average is 15%.
IPSD 204 should not be creating obstacles for teachers, students, and families to overcome in order to have a successful school.
